제2언어습득과 교수이론의 전반에 거친 개괄적인 지식을 갖추고, 원론을 이해하는 것에 기반을 두고 있다. 또한 개인의 언어발달의 원리와 교수의 기초가 다르지 않으며, 이러한 흐름 속에서 교수자의 수업이 진행되어야 한다는 영어교수의 원리를 이해하고 적용할 수 있게 된다.

This course is a general introduction to scientific research into how people learn a second language. Second language acquisition, or SLA, is a theoretical and experimental field of study which, like first language acquisition studies, looks at the phenomenon of language development.
