영어의 음성과 음운 조직을 연구함에 있어서 영어음의 조음기관과 발음방법, 그리고 영어 음운의 자질구조, 음절구조, 강세구조 등을 공부하며 중등학교에서의 발음지도방안을 모색한다.
교과목해설(영문)
This course will focus on basic concepts in phonetics and phonology as it applies to the learning and teaching of second languages. Topics include distinctive features; transcription & the International Phonetic Alphabet; phonemes & allophones; phonological processes; the sound patterns of contemporary spoken American English; and stress, rhythm, & intonation.
